A group of musicians planned this flash mob in an eastern Spanish city that borders the Mediterranean Sea. They played for the 130th Anniversary for their city of Sabadell. When I first came across this video, I sat watching in curious awe. As each phrase progressed in the performance, I couldn't help but notice how the upbeat music was giving rise to a contagious joyfulness in the crowd watching among the performers. I can't think of anything else on earth that conveys human expression better than music. Not even languages can keep musical expression coded. Goosebumps are universal. They came together to perform "Ode to Joy" for strangers.
