My Hands

My Hands

…have:
shaken other hands, hi-fived others, lifted others, fed others, cleaned others, assisted, given, received, hugged, patted on the back, tapped on the shoulder, motioned, been pulled, warmly held, touched, warmed others, and lightly brushed the foreheads of the elderly, sick, and dying.

…have been:
dirty, clean, worn raw, bruised, squeezed, hurt, helped, slapped, grappled to, pushed away, and tenderly held

have served: soldiers, the disabled, secretaries, businessmen, librarians, farmers, school teachers, musicians, fathers, mothers, grandparents, and great great grandparents.

My hands help others in need.
